One lovely day..

I asked one friend if he was home, couse he had something I had left at his place once and I wanted it back.. naturally. He was and we talked for a while at his door, after which i quickly visited another friend to talk about relationships and men etc. It was nice that I got to talk to her about them, cleared my head a bit as well.. I hadn't slept the other night at all and the previous day I had had a hangover like I've never had before.. So I felt a bit messed up thinking about those things as I had met a nice guy in a bar two days ago, I had realized I gotta do something about a few things, like just make sure I'm on the same page with a friend of mine. It's good to be sure about it couse I really hate hurting people. As little of that as possible please, I know it can't be avoided at times and it makes me sad. Still I don't want to wrap others in cotton. ehm. Now this seems to be going too deep, but I think when you're hurt it can make you grow, so it's needed at times but still I don't doing like it.

......The main point. As it was such a lovely day and I had kinda lost the previous day (because of hanover.. okay it was raining but still) I decided to be outside a bit longer to enjoy the sunshine and sat myself on a fence between road and river.

Then while I'm taking a photo with my phone of my shadow while sitting there, a random woman comes to me telling "The scenery is so beautiful, I took a photo where you sit there from further away with my phone, so you can't really be seen there actually.. Is that okay? And if you like I could take a photo of you sitting there, with your phone of course!" To which I went like uhh okay yeah sure why not..

so I didn't feel like posing and just sat there like I had for a while then.

Then I've been on my first date ever! (I was supposed to go once but I decided I wanted to just be at the guy's place and watch How I Met Your Mother) We sat in few parks and walked around the city and talked and went to sit by the sea and ate ice cream and watched a movie over at his place, Leon, one from my watchlist.. (edit here) It was really fun. I didn't even get any allergic reaction when I was in his home, they have a cat and I'm allergic... Tho I really do like cats. Sad face.

And then there was the midsummer! I realized we weren't going to our summer cottage after all so I just called my friend if I could still join them.. like few days before. She told me to bring my own food for bbq and we had a lot of fun. Eventho I didn't know but some people there before and not very well at that.. Almost not at all. But they were really nice, refreshing after having mostly nerds around you.. But don't misunderstand! I love my nerdy friends so it's a compliment.
And I ate too many sausages, swam in the sea (yay I'm still alive.. careful enough not to overestimate my strenght and swim too far and drown.. I was drunk afterall) and poured my heart to some of the people I actually don't know there, but they didn't seem to be troubled by it in the morning = I didn't talk about anything too embarrassing, good.
So all in all a really nice midsummer! Cons.. no bonfire, or toasted marshmallows.

Then my Lithuanian friend had her birthday and she invited us to come along with her to a bar. At first I hesitated as I had to do a lot and I was really tired but no way - I can't be like that when it's her birthday, besides, I did want to go and see this place where I hadn't been before and of course to see her! It was a lot of fun to sit there and buy few good tasting drinks but not get wasted and just hang out and talk with people and dance.. It was relaxed and fun.. like I said.

Whoops~ I wasn't supposed to write this long post but.. things happen. And it's been nice time.

Soooo-o. Where should I start eh?
On Sat, not last Sat but the previous before it. We went to see Iron sky, it was fun but I got disgusted at some point at the climax. Guess I'm not used to things like those in movies anymore. Btw the image of it brought "unicorn" to my mind.
After that we hung out in a park and more people came to join us or just to say hi, it was so nice and fun, even tho it rained a bit (luckily we had some umbrellas) and the sun just peaked behind the clouds just few times so it was cold as well. So cold I was shivering.
I had to go clean our summer cottage the next day so I had to leave earlier and others went to a bar.

I can't remember if I did anything remarkable before thursday... I probably did, I've been seeing a lot of my friends these days and I love it. I'm sorry for not remembering it right now, but I should have it all in my calendar.

I got to finally see my friend on Thurs and we hung out at their campus, and as you never know what's gonna happen there, we ended up after having picnic, when a funny American guy joined us, to go to a sauna event another friend of mine and my friend's had arranged for some exchange students couse the event organizer friend had invited the other friend and she invited us to come along with her.
We didn't go to sauna unlike two Finnish guys who showed up as well, but after the sauna we ended up going with the exchange students to other of the Finnish guys place to play Kimble drinking game. Couse I'm kinda fast drinker (not really funny, I do handle it pretty well tho but I'd like to enjoy it as well not just drink it) my friend I had come to see and was playing with me told me that I should play in team with her in a version of the game where you have to drink quickly. She had to double&triple a lot so we ended up having to drink kind of a lot....
And neither of us had eaten so well during the day so in the morning she had "nice" hangover.
We went to eat pizza and salad (put them in half and shared which was a good choise in so many ways for instance considering the hangover) and some guy joined us there.
That day we went to have a picnic again couse it was a nice day and this time there were a lot of their friends, while I left for home they went to bbq at some guy's (not the same) place.

Then on Sunday or Saturday, can't remember which one, I went for a little walk to take pictures.. and ended up walking two hours. It's was really nice weather and I find walking long distances kind of easy, maybe couse I walked two hours to a mall with my parents when I was five (just implying we walked a lot, of course I got to sit on their shoulders part of the walking trips).

My friend came to help me on one day with my computer issues on this week and I'm really grateful to her for her help. She's nice to hang out with, has clearly her own opinions and knows a lot about technical stuff, she's awesome like that.

The next day after that I went over to my Lithuanian friend who's studying here, and we baked blueberry cupcakes. They tasted awesome even tho they looked almost gray because of the blueberries.. We decorated some of them and I did one dinosaurus. yah.

That day I also heard I wouldn't have to keep company to our Californian visitors as they were going to go to Tampere to see their son (my cousins dad and aunt's ex, but they still keep in touch with our family, they're nice so I'm happy about that). Calling my friend I heard she didn't have anything particular and we decided that I'd come over to see her and her boyfriend's new place, couse they had moved together and I still hadn't seen it.

Then in the morning I had to get up kind of early to catch the train to there. We went shopping first and I bought more or less stuff that I needed. ..the cover for sunglasses was very much needed. The wallet wasn't so nice as I had thought so it's gonna be the party wallet (my phone fits in it).
The rest of the day we hung out at their place and made really good chicked salad. I'm a bit obsessed with cantaloupe now so it was in the salad as well, but it did fit in nicely.

Whew! That's mostly it. Today I shall hang out with my friends from school and we are going to our student organization's cafe which has been transformed in bar&cafe for the Summer. Hee. I've missed them especially when the guys on my friend's campus reminded me of my friends...
